Anna Vance Paper Co.
I started investing in Anna Vance Paper Co homeschool planners (and narration notebooks for Bible study) a few years ago. I am not exaggerating when I say it is the best. The beautiful covers (there are over 60 to choose from) and customizable options drew me in. The functionality and resulting productivity is what keeps me returning. Plus, this small business is founded and run by a fellow homeschool family! They are currently homeschooling, and know what is efficient, but also enjoyable and fun to use. If a homeschool mom is creating something excellent and beneficial, I want my dollars to go there.
Planner Design
This is not a cookie cutter design. These are handmade designs with beautiful scenes of nature and attention to detail. Each page is on high quality paper, which makes writing on them so enjoyable. There are multiple layouts for your favorite planning style. Optional pages are offered as well. My favorites being the Reading List, Lessons at a Glance, Considerations/Future Curriculum, Map Your Years, and Pupil Sheets. Many of the designs are Charlotte Mason Inspired, which just means that if you educate in the style of Charlotte Mason, many of the optional pages or quotes will be recognizable. There may be a famous CM quote or a section for Mother Culture or Habit Tracking. However, you do not need to know anything about Charlotte Mason to appreciate these planners!
Fully Customizable Homeschool Planner
When I say your Anna Vance Paper Co homeschool planner is customizable, I mean it is fully customizable. It is absolutely insane to me how many options this small business offers us homeschool moms. A generous gift to structure our homeschool planner the way we like it.
For your customized cover, you can add your homeschool name, a favorite verse, hymn lyrics, or have it say the traditional, “Homeschool Planner.” The Pupil sheets can be personalized with your child’s first names. These come with questions you can ask your child at the beginning of the year. It is such a sweet keepsake! You can opt in or out of all the optional pages, and just get a Minimal Planner if that is more your style.
How Is This Homeschool Planner the Best?
The minimalist look and clean lines of the planning sheets lead to flexibility. I think every homeschooler counts flexibility as a favorable perk. Unlike other design-heavy planners, an Anna Vance planner gives you chances to try a different set up. If you didn’t like how you set up the first few weeks, grab your brush pens and set up the next week differently.
The Easiest Way to Order (this is SO HELPFUL!)
Due to the amount of options and customizations, ordering can give you decision fatigue if you are not careful. The most efficient way to order your planner is to have three tabs open in your browser. This shop link in the first tab, and then this Planner Guide link in the second tab, and then the Covers link in the third tab. Yes, it seems like a lot, but you will thank me later.
Read though the first few sections of the Planner Guide to decide on the Interior Style and Planner you would like. Click into any photos you see so it will enlarge, and you can see more detail. As you continue to read in the Planner Guide, mark your decisions one at a time in your shop link.
Gradually, you’ll make your way to a completed order. Feel free to message me any questions about the products or ordering. I have been a long time customer, and have used many of their products! If you would appreciate a really detailed walk through of the easiest way to order for your first time, I wrote it all down in this post.
Keep Me Posted!
Nothing is more satisfying than hearing someone read my blog post, and tell me they found something that has helped them in their homeschool journey. If you do order one of these gorgeous planners or notebooks, post it and tag me on IG (and @annavancepaperco). I LOVE seeing these in the wild of our homeschool community! Now that you have your planner, read this post to get back in to a great homeschool rhythm!
